Welcome to Wakehurst Football Club.
Wakehurst FC is a grassroots, family focussed, community football club establishedin 1968 and based in Belrose, NSW.
Wakehurst FC has a simple mission:-
We play in the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) on the northern beaches of Sydney. The MWFA winter competition runs from April to August.
We are one of the sixteen clubs who play in the MWFA competitions from Avalon in the north to Mosman in the south.
Wakehurst FC is one of the largest clubs in the MWFA with nearly 2,000 players in over 150 teams. We have teams in most MWFA competitions from Mixed Under 6 to
Men’s Premier League and from Women’s Under 7 to Women’s Premier League.
Our home ground is Lionel Watts Reserve which has two full size and one mid-size synthetic pitches and one full size grass pitch. Our other grass pitches are Hews Parade, Ararat Reserve and County Road.
We use the clubhouse at Hews Parade for meetings and for playing gear and equipment storage and sales.
We run our own 6-a-Side Summer Football competition at Lionel Watts Reserve from October to March.
Wakehurst FC is very fortunate to have a fabulous Committee that works tirelessly to ensure we are one of the best run clubs in the MWFA.
