When it comes to football in the Frenchs Forest, Belrose or Davidson area – Wakehurst is THE CLUB.

Wakehurst Football Club was founded in 1968 to service the newly developing Forest area. The Club initially started with 8 teams from U/6-U/11.

With over 1,535 registered players in 2020 playing in 116 teams, we are certainly one of the strongest and best conducted clubs in the Manly Warringah Football Association. In fact, Wakehurst has won the MWFA’s President’s Cup for best  performance, presentation and attitude in a club 20 times.

Our pride is evident when we boast Lucas Neill as a home grown player and former player at Wakehurst back in his youth before he went on to further his brilliant career in the UK and the Socceroos.

We have had many successful years at Wakehurst with teams in both Men’s and Ladies winning Champion of Champions and State Cup awards.

Our aim is to provide all our players with a fun and enjoyable environment in which to play football, whilst helping develop their individual skills with the assistance of our dedicated team of coaches.

Above all we are a family club that encourages participation by players and parents. We offer coaching programs, camps, Gala days and fantastic social events throughout the year.
