Thank you to everyone who has come to grading for the last three weeks.

With the season start rapidly approaching I would like to give you the following information.

  • For mixed teams the season starts on Saturday 1st April. For girls teams the season starts on Sunday 2nd April.
  • With Easter and the school holidays Round 2 for U6-U18 mixed teams is Saturday 22nd April and for WU8-WU18 girl’s teams Round 2 is Sunday 23rd April.
  • Team announcements will be made on the WFC website on Wednesday evening 1st March
  • Hews Parade is now open every Friday from 6.30 – 8.00 pm for gear sales (socks, shorts, hoodies etc.). Please do not wait until end March to buy gear !
  • Sub-Junior team announcement day is Sunday 12th March at Hews Parade. At these days we like you to nominate a team coach & manager. The manager will collect your team kit, including the free Shorts & Socks for all U6-U8 players registered with us for the first time in 2023.

We will have a free ‘MiniRoos’ coaching course for U6-U11 coaches at Hews Parade on Friday March 31st from 6.00 – 9.00 pm. Please register for this course at


Coach & Manager Information

We need ALL Coaches & Managers to attend our information nights.

For U6-U11 & WU8-WU11 teams this will be on Wednesday 22nd March and for U12-O45 & WU12 -WO40 teams this will be on Thursday 23rd March.

Both nights are at the Belrose Hotel and start at 7.00 pm sharp.

All Coaches and Managers need to register online at Please ensure that you upload a passport type photo when you register.

If you plan to Coach or Manage a team this season, please ensure that your Working With Children Check (WWCC) is valid and that you have provided your W WCC number and details to the WFC Registrar. If you do not currently have one please apply for a free, “Volunteer” WWCC at

Team Kit (Playing Shirts, Balls, Cones & Bibs) pick up will be at Hews Parade on the below dates/times. Only ONE person (usually the manager/coach) will collect the kit. A $100 refundable deposit is required, which is returned at the end of the season, once the ENTIRE Team Kit is returned on our dedicated return nights (the Team Kit includes ALL playing shirts, training bibs, balls, cones and goals – where issued).

Collection Dates

· Friday 17th March: U10 – U11 Mixed & Girls from 6.30-8.00 pm

· Saturday 18th March: U12-U16 Mixed & Girls from 9.00-10.30 am

· Saturday 18th March: All Senior teams (U18 and older) from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm.
