Does your son or daughter love football?

Wakehurst FC is proud to announce new junior player and coach development programs in 2021.

We have engaged Football Development Australia (FDA) to assist us to deliver these programs. These initiatives will provide several exciting new junior development opportunities for Wakehurst players and coaches in a fun, inclusive and safe environment.

From 2021, Wakehurst coaches and managers will have the opportunity to work together with FDA Director, Cormac Begley and his team of highly qualified and experienced coaching staff.

At Wakehurst we are focused on helping players of all levels reach their full football potential. To support this, we will again be providing several coach education opportunities in 2021.

Wakehurst FC players and coaches will benefit from professionally coached skills and development sessions.

Key elements that Wakehurst, in conjunction with FDA, will bring to the programs are:

  • Commitment to the long-term development of players and teams;
  • Consistency of coaching and session structures across age groups; and
  • A proven track record in developing successful junior and youth players and teams

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup being held in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 we are especially keen to continue the development of our junior girl players.

We are currently finalising details of these new initiatives to ensure our players, teams and coaches will benefit from these exciting new programs. More details will be released in later this month.
