2021 REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

Online registrations for the 2021 season are now open.

As with last year, we need ALL players, coaches and managers to Register AND Pay Registration Fees Online.

There is no cost or fee to register as a Coach or Manager (Volunteer), it is free.

To register as a Coach or Manager of a team, please ensure you have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) before you register online as you MUST enter your WWCC number as part of your registration.

Please carefully read this notice in full together with the registration instructions BEFORE registering on-line. Getting your registration correct the first time eliminates the need for our volunteer committee members to spend a lot of time fixing errors.

For all eligible U6-U18 players you MUST obtain an “Active Kids” voucher for $100 from Service NSW before registering online and you MUST use the Voucher Number when registering.

Go to the Service NSW website at https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher and click the “Apply Online” button to log into your MyServiceNSW Account. On this page you will also find a video that explains how to apply.

There will be lots of people trying to obtain vouchers and then trying to register online so there could be delays. Please be patient!

The Football Federation Australia “PlayFootball” national registration system will be used again for the 2021 season.

A few key points are:

  • Everyone must either already have an account or create a new account in the Play Football system for 2021
  • Families can create an account first and then link all their children to this account

Instructions on how to register in the “Play Football” system can be found below.

Unfortunately, the system requires ALL coaches and managers and ALL Under 10 to Over 45 players to upload a current, passport-size and quality photograph when you register online.

Please ensure that you upload a new photo when you register online.

Make sure your photo is recent and appropriate. Registrations with inappropriate photos will be rejected!

Photos must be a passport style photo from the shoulders up, on a plain background, with no hats, sunglasses or prescription glasses unless the player needs these to play the game.

If glasses are needed to play the game, then they must be approved sports glasses.

Any new players to Wakehurst FC, from Under 10 and older, must send Proof of Age (photo or scan of Passport or Birth Certificate) to our Registrar at registrar@wakehurstfc.com.au.

The “Play Football” online registration system is loaded with our 2021 Playing Fees. Fees are the same as the 2020 season.

When you enter a valid Voucher Number on the payment page the fees are automatically reduced by $100.

For example, our U6/7 Fees are $190. When you enter a valid Active Kids Voucher Number you will be asked to pay $90.00 online.

Please make sure your E-Mail address is correct as this is the primary form of contact the club will use to communicate with you.

We will not have an Information Day at the Lionel Watts Clubhouse this year.

For any U6, new players or anyone else who requires information please come to Hews Parade on Friday 5th, 12th & 19th February between 6.30-8.00 pm where our Committee will help you with any questions.

As for the last two years, the MWFA will run Girls WU8, WU9, WU10 and WU11 competitions. These age groups will proceed provided enough players register and these games will be played on Sunday mornings.

As with last year, the Women’s WU18/1 and Men’s U18/1 competition will be played on Friday nights at 7.00 pm.

An important change for 2021 is the introduction of a Men’s U21 competition. If enough teams register this competition may be also be played on Friday nights.
